Mr. Chase’s securities litigation background is extensive. He started his career at Greenberg Traurig, a national law firm, defending large brokerage houses in securities matters. Mr. Chase thereafter served as Senior Counsel in the Enforcement Division of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Economic Crimes Division of the United States Attorney’s Office. After completing his government service, he entered private practice where he has successfully represented numerous investors in securities cases against major Wall Street brokerage firms, clearing firms, banks and other financial institutions, and has also served as Court-appointed Receiver in Securities and Exchange Commission enforcement cases in which he was charged by the Federal Court with the duty of protecting securities investors’ rights. Mr. Chase has also served as a special securities counsel to a Securities Exchange Commission Receiver for the purpose of investigating and, if warranted, prosecuting claims against a brokerage firm for the benefit of victimized investors. Mr. Chase has served as Chairman of the Securities Litigation Committee of the Dade County Bar Association, and as Co-Chair of the Securities Enforcement Subcommittee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. He has authored articles and been featured as a guest speaker on securities law issues, and has been retained as an expert witness on securities law cases. Mr. Chase is dedicated to zealously representing individual investors in an effort to maximize the recovery of their investment losses. |
